Ceased the dreadful World War I,
celebrating remembrance day...
On this day 11th November
Poppies filled the entire atmosphere
The world was silent for moments
Remembering the scenes of WWI.
Recalling the bloodsheds in battlefields
The cries of the innocents
The indigo of darkness overwhelmed
Raising restless souls.
The hatred stored in every self of warriors
Caused a havoc of destruction in wars
With love for their country
Sacrificed peace of the world.
Till today many things changed
Every self gained a new purpose in life
Remembering the foolish mistakes in the past
The world lies in peace once again.
As we celebrate Remembrance Day
We think about the efforts of all warriors
We learned that killing others
Does not revive another.
